Summer break
Here are some fun pictures of the kids at one of H's recent baseball games, plus a fun kids' bike race on Memorial Day. I'm hoping that by posting these pictures, I'll be able to think kind thoughts about these people, rather than muttering under my breath about how year-round school might be a really great thing. I'm working on a list to post on the fridge that will be entitled, "Things To Do When You Are Bored."

yea i hear ya! Even though I'm totally ready to be done with the school schedule of running them back and forth and homework ....not sure about having no real break for four crazy kids day in and day out will be either....hmmm...year round IS looking good!
When my kids would tell me they were bored, I would quickly recite a list of jobs that needed to be done. Funny how they stopped telling me that.
If any of you ever start feeling like you have to entertain your kids constantly, just read one of my most favorite parenting books on the planet. A Family of Value by John Roosemond. It really freed me to be the parent and not feel like I had to be everything else.
